Hi Nina! Storing them in a Ziploc in the freezer will preserve them for a year, the longest amount of time per our story here (https://food52.com/blog/21693-how-to-store-nuts-in-freezer). In the fridge, they'll keep up to 6 month, and for fridge storage, this Martha Stewart piece (https://www.marthastewart.com/8298904/best-way-to-store-nuts) recommends airtight, glass jars (we sell some here: https://food52.com/shop/products/7475-stackable-jar-hand-turned-lid). It also notes that nuts high in fat like pine nuts turn rancid the fastest in your pantry, so you'll definitely want to keep them cold one way or the other. The fact that you've toasted them in advance is a plus!
