Hi, If you want to marinate the shrimp longer, no problem, transfer them to the fridge and chill for 30 minutes or up to 1 hour. Enjoy the recipe!

Don't!
If you let this just sit, the lemon juice will continue to "cook" the shrimps think ceviche. Your shrimp won't have a good texture.

The marinade doesn’t have any lemon juice. The lemon juice is just for finishing.
The marinade is garlic, EVO, fish sauce and spices. I let the shrimp sit in this mixture over an hour before cooking without issue. Delicious!
