In addition to age and appetites of the diners, whether recipe will serve 4 partly depends on how much protein they tend to eat throughout the day.
If spread out among meals and snacks, this recipe (with sides) may do fine. If depending on dinner for protein, I would either double the recipe (and happily store any leftovers). Or include a protein rich side in the menut.

A simple green salad would be one choice of a side. You could also prepare a simple steamed vegetable dish like broccoli.
