I am doubling green bean casserole and opened a can of cream of mushroom soup with roasted garlic instead of plain. Will it matter if I use it?

Sounds like you've discovered a great new green bean casarole idea. I'm going to use this.

Taste it before you add it to the preparation.

I personally love garlic with green beans—my favorite recipe is just raw chopped garlic and butter on top with salt (so good!), so I think this might be delicious!! It just depends if you want to stick with your traditional recipe and if you'll be disappointed when it doesn't taste the same, but as Rick says it may become a family favorite!

It won't matter if the family kiss each other only AFTER eating the garlic soup.
Seriously, though, the addition of garlic sounds lovely.
