Are the measurements for baking powder, baking soda and vanilla correct?

I made this recipe but it bubbled over my dish spilling lots to the floor of my oven. Never cooked in the middle even with added time. The measurements for vanilla - baking powder and baking soda seemed high to me - maybe this is why it didn't bake correctly. Of the bits on top that were browned - I pulled some off and the taste was good.

Hi- the measurements are correct. What size pan did you use? Did you use both baking powder and baking soda? If you use only baking soda, it will indeed product quite a lot of gas.

Glad to hear the recipe was all correct.

From your report it does seem that there is too much of one or more ingredients (not just the three you mention) is too little space in the baking pan.

Maybe compare some other recipes for bourbon banana cakes (with caramel or brown sugar) and adjust your next baking accordingly.

Correction to small typo: (not just the three you mention) OR there is too little space in the baking pan.
