Cuisinart FP14DCC - 20+ year old Cuisinart but in excellent condition. The Touchpad Control Panel stopped working.

This past week the Touchpad Control Panel stopped working so when you plug in the machine the motor runs immediately and will not stop unless the feed bowl cover is disengaged, or the plug is pulled from the wall. Just wondering if there is anything I can do to fix the Touchpad Control Panel?
