My braised pork butt roast is dry (overcooked). How can I add moisture?
I am making citrus-braised pork tacos. Pork was trimmed and cut into 1-inch chunks before cooking.

Another solution. If the meat is still dry, to your taste, you could add more moisture in the tacos with vegetable, fresh sauces and/or lime juice.

Hi Heather!
This is tough but we do have one good option! If you have enough cooking liquid to fully submerge the meat, i would simply add it back to the liquid and let sit for at least 30 minutes before serving.
If it isn't enough, add some stock to the drippings in a pot, then maybe add a bit more citrus, soy sauce and salt. Bring to a simmer.
Remove from the heat, submerge in the stock and let soak for 30 minutes.
Hope this helps!
