I like the soft serve from my Cuisenart but when I put it in the freezer it gets hard a rock and impossible to scoop. Any ideas?
If I put it in the freezer it takes hours to get soft enough to serve and does not taste as good as the soft serve.

What recipe are you using and how cold is your freezer? Ice cream scoopability is affected by the sugar and fat ratios of the mix (not enough sugar or too much fat can make it hard to scoop), and of course how cold your freezer is.

Also if you aren't churning it enough, that will make it freeze firmer too.
