A question about a recipe: Spicy Shrimp

I have a question about step 2 on the recipe "Spicy Shrimp" from Helen. It says:

"Heat a grill. Skewer the shrimp (4 to 6 shrimp per skewer) and grill until pink and delicious, 2 to 3 minutes per side."

Are these to be peeled and deveined shrimp?
