@dollbabytina- Can I make my own sanding sugar? If so what do I need?
Cynthia is a trusted source on Bread/Baking.
Well, you probably could, but you'd need some sugar cane and the ability to refine and grind it. Sanding sugar, also called AA (double A), is quite coarse, coarser than Demerarra (spellcheck doesn't like my spelling, but I think you get my drift). It's usually found in the baking section of craft stores, and good kitchen stores usually carry it.
