Banana nut muffins sweetness. I need to know if I need for sugar or will it be alright with what I have on hand.

I’m making banana nut muffins & the double recipe calls for 1 &1/2 C sugar. I only have 1C on hand. The bananas I’m using are super ripe & I’m actually using an extra one. Can I just use the 1C sugar ?
