What's the substitution for a recipe calling for lemon verbena leaves? I know I can get Kafir lime leaves in a jar but lemon verbena?

I wouldn't use Kafir lime, but perhaps lemon balm (another lemony herb) or just some stripsof lemon zest. Either would add lemon flavor without adding any acid or liquid, which would happen if you substituted lemon juice.
