A question about a recipe: Echt Rouladen

I found some at my Whole Foods with the butcher. If you can't find it, a very good premium bacon will do. A juniper smoked bacon can be great. Applewood smoked bacon is also really good. Hope that helps. I have also been thinking how nice this recipe would be to roll in some roasted poblano peppers right on top of the bacon before adding some gherkins and onions.
