I have a question about step 1 on the recipe "sweet forbidden black rice and spicy flank steak salad" from Lauren Coleman. It says to use cucumber juice.
How do you get just juice from a cucumber? Thanks!

Cut a cucumber into chunks. Puree it in a blender or food processor. Then strain the pulp and you'll be left with cucumber juice!
you can juice it the way amanda suggested, it yields the most juice that way but in a pinch you can ream it over a strainer and that works fine too! -cheers!
