A question about a recipe: Simple Plum Cake

This recipe from energy calls for a baking dish - but what size?? Has anyone who's had success w/this delish-sounding recipe advise? e.g. 8x8, 13x9x2, 10" springform?

9" round cake pan or an 8x8" square pan. It sounds like a smallish cake.

Based on the proportions, I'd think a 9" round cake pan would work.
