A question about a recipe: Late Summer Plum Cake

Could I use yogurt instead of sour cream in this recipe? Don't have sour cream on hand.

Yogurt should be fine so long as it's the thick, Greek-style yogurt. It should be plain, not flavored, and preferably full fat, though it would probably work with a low-fat version, as well. If it's not Greek-style, let it drain in a coffee filter for several hours until it is thickened before using it. Enjoy the cake!
