When I use my tube pan (or a pan with a removable bottom) to bake cakes, it often leaks. How can I prevent this?

Two ideas. 1. Place a round of parchment or wax paper in the base before adding the tube part. 2. Wrap the exterior of the pan with aluminum foil. Neither is a perfect solution but might help.
