Gorgonzola swap?

I have a question about the ingredient "cup crumbled gorgonzola" on the recipe "Pasta Al Forno with Pumpkin and Pancetta" from merrill. I am allergic to gorgonzola (the mold in it) and have never had it. What other cheese could I use in it's place? Goat cheese? (Chevre?) Thank you!
