Why am I unable to upload a new recipe?

I am not able to upload a recipe with either Firefox or IE on a PC. When I click the "add recipe" button it takes me to the log-in screen, when I log in I either get directed back to the main recipe page or get the chocolate baguette error screen. Arrggh!

I just figured out the button from the contest page works, but the button from the recipe page doesn't.
