Wine and thanksgiving

What kind of red wine goes best with the traditional thanksgiving dinner? I prefer ice wines but I'll take any suggestions.

I usually get a variety of wines, reds are my fav with turkey. Always a Syrah, but one of my favorites is a sparkling red, Lambrusca. IMHO it pairs nicely.
