Can I use satsuma zest instead of orange zest in soup?

I think it's a fine substitution, just add it in slowly and taste since satsumas are sweeter.

What kind of soup, and how much zest does the recipe call for?

Vegan Carrot Ginger Soup. It calls for zest and juice of 1 orange so I'd probably need 2 satsumas. Is that an okay substitution?
