if i roast potatoes (standard w/herbs, oil in a hot oven til golden) then transfer them to a crock pot, will that work to keep them warm without overcooking them or causing them to get mushy? taking to a place without oven space to reheat...

It should work, but I wouldn't leave them there any longer than needed to reheat. They may get a little mushy since the crock pot won't be as hot as an oven. Maybe others have more suggestions?
