Stainless Steel Cookware
Stainless steel is our workhorse cookware for crispy chicken, pan sauce, you name it—but it needs a little TLC if it’s going to last a lifetime. For most cleanup jobs, a sponge and hot, soapy water will do the trick (just let your pan soak first to loosen any buildup). If you still have stubborn spots after scrubbing, bring that soapy water to a boil, then gently scrape those bits away. Oh, and here’s a tip for any discoloration: Boil a 1:3 mixture of vinegar and water, rinse, then cue the oohs and ahhs.
