Down to earth.

Looking at this mug, it’s hard to believe it was handmade from a lump of clay. But indeed it was: After being wheel-thrown in the Bronx by ceramics artist William Reardon, it was topped off with an earthy yellowy-green glaze. Oh, and be sure to take a peek at the bottom: It has a limited-edition stamp to remind you where you snapped it up.

It’s the event we wait all year for: We teamed up with 52 ceramicists—that’s right, 52—to bring you a whole medley of handmade mugs, each one as unique as its maker. They’re exclusively here, only for a limited time.

Meet the Maker

New York Stoneware

Bronx, NY
Beginning with a goal to create pottery that could be incorporated into people’s everyday lives, Will Reardon founded New York Stoneware in the Bronx in 2013. Every object that comes from his studio is soulful, functional, and completely handmade by him and his team. We’re looking forward to using their beautiful pieces in our homes again and again (and again).
