We designed our Five Two Essential Sheet Pan to stand by 24/7 for everything from pastry bake-a-thons, to tender roasted veggies (with plenty of talent besides). Made with professional-grade thickness, it’s designed to be heat-safe up to 600°F and non-toxic so it can bake and broil with the best of them. You asked for easy-grip handles so you could taxi your cookies to the cooling rack with ease, so we did just that—and they happen to look great, too. An easy-clean ceramic coating finishes the job. Care & Notes +-
Sheet Pan & Rack: Oven and broiler safe to 600°F. Avoid cooking sprays and oils with a low smoke point—over time, they can cause buildup on the coating.
Our sheet pan (and optional cooling rack) can be tossed in the dishwasher for easy cleaning or hand-washed in warm, soapy water (we recommend this gentler method to keep it looking its best). If it’s just out of the oven, let the pan come to room temperature before rinsing—extreme temperature changes can cause surfaces to warp. Should slight warping occur under extreme temperature changes, our pan will always return to a fully flat position when cooled.
To get rid of build-up, give it a soak in soapy water, then scrub it down with a sponge. Avoid steel wool, steel scouring pads, and harsh detergents. Just as with your favorite cast iron pan or ceramic Dutch oven, browning/discoloring is bound to happen with love and use—it only adds character.
Silicone Baking Mat: Oven (up to 550°F), microwave, and dishwasher safe. If you opt for hand-washing, be sure to give it an extra-thorough scrub from time-to-time with a little baking soda to get rid of any oils. Note that your mat will develop a patina with use—this is perfectly normal and won’t affect its performance. Any indents you see after opening will disappear once you’ve baked with it a couple of times.
