Glasvin

New York, NY
Lots of wine glasses out there are deemed too delicate, so they live in the back of the cabinet, only to be pulled out for “special occasions.” But the ones from Glasvin? They’re made with everyday use in mind (hand-blown, in fact) and designed with inspiration from classic wine traditions.

My New Favorite
Review by Kelli P. on 21 Dec 2023 review stating My New Favorite
There are not a lot of stores that carry Staub in the turmeric color. I’ve looked everywhere any finally found it at Food52. It’s a great size because it’s taller than my 5.5 LC Dutch oven. I use it for everyday cooking. It’s so beautiful, I leave it on my stove.

Review by Lorraine C. on 8 Feb 2023 review stating Perfect
I’ve used this three times since it arrived a week ago and have only good things to say. It is beautiful, easy to clean, and most importantly gets the job done perfectly. I highly recommend, especially for the sale price.

Disappointed
Review by Kimberley M. on 6 Feb 2023 review stating Disappointed
I love Staub but this was clearly a second of some sort. The bottom white looks light grey while the lid is the solid bright white. Very noticeable sitting on my stovetop where I had planned to store it. Destroyed box upon opening it and too much effort to repack and return. Love the size and interior finish but Will not buy again from here. Photo does not properly capture the color contrast difference.

My staub cast iron dutch oven is the best investment! It makes baking and cooking a breeze. The design gives this piece so much character too. I ordered the color sesame to avoid that worn look all dutch ovens acquire over time. LOVE!

Love the 5QT tall cocotte
Review by Tomoe H. on 2 Feb 2023 review stating Love the 5QT tall cocotte
I’ve never owned Staub before, but am loving it so far. Color is beautiful and it’s just the perfect size and love the height! I own 2.5QT and 8QT Le Creuset and I needed the between size. Because it is tall and fits right on the flame, no uncooked area in the pot. I’m keeping it on my stove bc I use it weekly to make a big batch of soup! Only thing is that the nob on the lid gets hot, so I learned my lesson of keeping something on top to remind myself not to touch it with my bear hand!!

Family Heirloom

I collect Staub and Le Creuset pots and pans and bakeware. Love the colors in addition to the great cooking qualities. While I have more cast irons pots than I need, I will continue to collect all shapes, sizes and colors as both ate made if such high quality materials with lifetime guarantees. I recommend anyone to at least purchase one and see for themselves.

Sweet, heat, and everything neat. These were the ingredients chosen to create Resident @rick_andrew_martinez's Pork Ribs in Chile Verde. Pork ribs are simmered in tomatillos, onion, garlic, and green chile and served with a side of frijoles de la olla (and if you were wondering, Rick never soaks his beans!). Snag his recipe at the link in bio! 📸: @jamesransom_nyc #f52community
