Editors' Picks — Hot Toddies
Any food52 member is welcome to help us test our Editors' Pick candidates, so go call dibs on the recipe you'd like to test in the comments section below! We'd love to see some new testers in the mix. Don't forget to email us your notes (about 100 words) to editors@food52.com by next Tuesday at 5pm.
We'll collect your comments, decide the official list of Editors' Picks and publish your evaluation in the headnote if the recipe is selected as an Editors' Pick (with credit, of course!). And even if the recipe you test isn't chosen as an Editors' Pick, please feel free to leave your testing notes in the recipe's comments section. Constructive criticism is always encouraged!

We fully support that resolution. But shoot -- sticksnscones just beat you to the Calientito. How about the not for Toddlers, Warm Egg Nog or Grandma Erikson's Julglogg?

Hi sabina -- emmanation actually already snagged that one but there are plenty of recipes that still need testers (surprisingly!). Would you be interested in The White Christmas, not for Toddlers, Calientito (Warm Pear Toddy), Warm Egg Nog or Grandma Erikson's Julglogg?

I'll try La Grande Bulleit Marnier. Thanks for nominating my Holiday Hot Toddy. Today is the coldest day of the year here in San Diego, most appropriate for the taste-testing! Happy New Year all -

Thanks, five and spice. I hope you like it! And thank you editors. And, since I'm heading towards San Diego for our final holiday excursion, it seems only fitting to try the Holiday Hot Toddy. Happy New Year to everyone!

Who knew there could be so many variations to a hot toddy. I'm excited that my Calientito (Warm Pear Toddy) is an EP Candidate. I look forward to more contests! This is fun!

Thanks for testing this, drbabs. If you can't get Adivasi chai, make one as strong as you dare. Hope you like it. The class at King Arthur yesterday was amazing. Just posted 2 recipes I learned there. Going back next Thursday, too. Highly recommend!
