Here at Food52, we’ve built our entire community around the idea of gathering together over good food. And while we never take it for granted, around the holidays we’re particularly aware of what a luxury it is. So as we start to bake cookies and throw parties and buy presents, we want to find a way to give back to those who can’t easily do the same.
We’ve partnered with FEED -- an organization working to fight global hunger -- to make a difference through our shop, with your help, this December. Founded by Lauren Bush Lauren, FEED is a social business whose mission is to create good products that help feed the world. To date, FEED has been able to provide over 85 million meals to children and families globally. In addition, the FEED Foundation is dedicated to supporting programs and organizations that are effectively working to fight hunger and eliminate malnutrition throughout the world.
As a company whose roots are in food, FEED’s mission is of particular significance to us -- so between now and December 31st, we’re giving ten percent of net proceeds from our shop to FEED. Every purchase you make means more support for FEED. It’s the ultimate holiday win-win.
