Drbabs, a longtime Food52er, is teaching a class on cooking and nutrition and one participant's daughter has two back-to-back after-school sports with just enough time for a snack in between. The mother wants to spice up the daughter’s regular diet of mostly commercial granola bars (while avoiding daughter-vetoed sandwiches and fruit), so drbabs turned to the Hotline to ask the community for their best portable snack suggestions.
