Our Latest Contest: Your Best Non-Dairy Frozen Dessert Recipe

June 22, 2015

We've parterned with Califia Farms to bring you our our latest contest (and an amazing prize for the winner!): We want to see your best recipes for non-dairy frozen desserts.

Strawberry Vanilla Coconut Ice Cream

We all scream for non-dairy ice cream! Yes, you read that right. Sure, we love our dairy desserts, but with milkshakes and ice cream so close at hand, we sometimes forget how much we can do without milk. For our latest contest, we want to see what you make when you're making a non-dairy frozen dessert—whether you're looking for a vegan dessert option, are nursing a dairy allergy (or aversion), or are just keeping your options open. Bring on the granitas! The sorbets! The ice pops! The frosty almond, cashew, and coconut milk treats! One very lucky contest winner will receive a Vitamix from Califia Farms.

Can we use eggs in our recipes?
Caroline L. June 23, 2015
hi! yes, you can use eggs. the dessert needs to be nondairy (and frozen), but it need not be vegan.
Stephanie June 23, 2015
Oh yay! I love frozen desserts and have been drinking Califa Farms XX Espresso Almond Milk nearly every morning. Can't wait to have some fun!

Looking forward to it. I have dessert only a few times a year because I try to avoid sugar. It would be nice if sugar is replaced with something not artificial.
Caroline L. June 23, 2015
try it out and submit a recipe to the contest! we'd love to see what you make.
