Saying Farewell to Good Eggs NYC—With Good Eggs

August  5, 2015

Good Eggs NYC, you were a good egg. You brought some of our favorite foods straight to our doors: Runner & Stone miche, spicy labneh, and—if we're so bold to say it—the best tomatoes we've had all season.

Your news of closing your New York, Los Angeles, and New Orleans stations brought much sadness to our office today—so much so that our Test Kitchen Manager Derek made cherry scones for us to stress eat. From one spring chicken food startup to another, we're really sad to see you go—and hope all of the Bay Area feels very lucky that they'll continue to get your stellar deliveries.

Good eggs.

We can't share the scones with you (they're all gone), so we're remembering all the good you brought shoppers and farmers around these parts—with some egg recipes, good ones.

This made me so, so sad today. My last order came this afternoon, and now I wish I'd ordered so many more things.

Good Eggs, we are such huge fans. You changed the way I shopped, and brought so many joyful treats to my home. Will miss you deeply and can't wait for when you come back to NYC!
