For our latest contest, show us the (savory) apples of your eyes.
Maybe you went apple picking this weekend.
Maybe you went apple picking, got caught up in the crunchy, autumnal romance of it—the light on the leaves, that sweet-clean smell of apple trees, the cider doughnut you ate afterward. Maybe, in getting caught up, you brought home, oh, a full sack of apples. A bushel. And for this week's contest, we want to see how you put them to use in savory ways, once the apple pies and applesauces are accounted for. Do you make a chutney? Braise them with cabbage? Chop them into salads? We want to see—apples to apples—your best savory recipes that feature fall's favorite fruit.
Head over to the contest page to submit your recipes.
