It was still July when the Shop team started blasting holiday music as they prepared stocking stuffers and cooking tools for the holidays—and I think we can all agree that it was far too early for any sort of cheer (We had to ask them nicely to please turn off the Michael Bublé.) But now that Halloween is far, far behind us—we can finally say it: We now give you permission to celebrate The Holidays!

That's right—store windows are soon going to be filled with fake snow—so why shouldn't your holiday (pre-holiday?) celebrations begin now? There are only two months of it, after all.
Go ahead and charge head-first into November: Watch Love Actually on a loop, listen to Mariah Carey (Jessica Simpson, even), drag home a tree, sing about Rudolf, hold your red Starbucks cup high, kick your pumpkins to the curb and DIY some ornaments, and start searching for presents for everyone on your "Nice" list.
As for us, we'll be celebrating the First Day of Holidays Day with a classic Thanksgiving menu (Did you catch our whole host of Holiday gift guides in the Shop earlier this week?). Three cheers for turkeys, Santa, and family time!
How will you be celebrating the First Day of Holidays Day? Tell us in the comments below!
