We were skeptical, too—hot avocado? You're sure?
But Paige and her Avocado-Stuffed French Toast proved us wrong, of course. Seasoned mashed avocado is stuffed into a slit cut into a thick slice of bread, then dipped in a hot sauce-spiked egg mixture and browned on a buttered griddle. (Nature's butter, meet actual butter.) It's the vegetarian answer to the Monte Cristo.
Then you crown it with a fried egg. Then your heart sings. Then you invite everyone you know over for breakfast (or brunch, or lunch, or...).
