7 Frozen Cocktails to Make and Sip at Home This Summer

July 21, 2016

As a kid, you bought slushies at the gas station or the movie theater because they were sweet and fun and summery, something you could pay for with your own money before numbing yourself into brain freeze.

But the fun does not stop when you reach legal drinking age, which is why more and more bars (and not just tiki bars) are serving thick, frosty cocktails—slushie-style but boozy (and not too sweet, either).

Skip the bar and make them at home: All you need is a blender and a good stockpile of ice. (Of course, if you don't have a blender, you can always simply make your favorite cocktail and drop an ice pop in as a swizzle stick.)
