Answer a Few Questions, Plan Your Holiday Feast in 10 Minutes

December 21, 2016

Thanksgiving? ...What's that?

We know, you've moved on. It's been over a week and turkey's no longer on your mind (or in your fridge). But you remember how much fun we had with the Thanksgiving Menu Genie? (...Don't you?)

So to keep the party going (and the wine flowing), the Thanksgiving Menu Genie underwent a costume change and emerged the Holiday Menu Genie (cue royal trumpet!).

Shop the Story

Plan your winter feasts—from Christmas to Hanukkah to New Year's Eve to the celebratory breakfast you make when you (finally!) have your house to yourself again—with ease.

Like the Thanksgiving Menu Genie, the Holiday Menu Genie gives you a personalized menu you can email to friends (or yourself, for safekeeping) and share on Facebook and Twitter. And every recipe comes with tips and know-how to help you succeed.

Here's a sampling of my Genie-concocted selection. Yes, there's breakfast for the next day, too. And yes, you're invited—as long as you flip the latkes.

Happy feasting!

When do you have your big holiday meals? Tells us in the comments!

I used to work at Food52. I'm probably the person who picked all of the cookie dough out of the cookie dough ice cream.

Christmas Eve tradition is homemade Minestrone soup with crusty Italian
bread. Christmas Day is the big meal Rib Roast, Yorkshire Pudding and Creamed Spinach....my favorite meal of the year.
Dessert fruitcake and chocolates.
