As someone who barely knew the basics but suddenly found my feed flooded with fermentation updates, I was shocked to learn that sourdough starter isn’t just for bread—the options are truly endless. There are so many uses for sourdough starter! In addition to bread, it can be used to make soft pretzels, tangy waffles, crispy crackers, and fluffy pancakes. Additionally, it adds depth of flavor and the advantages of natural fermentation to pizza dough, muffins, and biscuits. To cut down on waste, use your imagination and try out various recipes!
