Every Monday and Wednesday, we'll announce a new Wildcard winner: a recipe that may not have been entered in (or won) a contest, but a recipe that we've tested and loved.

WHAT: Your classic guacamole takes a frolic through a springtime pasture, and comes back refreshed.

HOW: Dump your ingredients in a food processor and press "pulse."

WHY WE LOVE IT: With thechocolatefig's clever move -- adding peas to guacamole -- you gain a sweet, fresh taste without taking away from the classic. We'll be making this all summer long. Sometimes, it's easy being green!

I'm glad I read this. It looks good. At first I was afraid the peas had been substituted for avocados. I was wondering why on earth?! I plan to try this.
