my other suggestion is the recipe from king arthur flour. every recipe of theirs i have made has been a success. they explain how to do it both in a bundt pan or in the tall traditional pans. i'm including both the blog and recipe links...since the blog has step by step pictures and that might be helpful.
i have yet to make it myself since i usually get inundated with it given to me as gifts... but here is some advice i found about making it at home along with a recipe. you'll probably wind up using another recipe but the advice looks valuable if you have never made it before. i hope this helps.... happy baking!
Thanks for the link! It's true it contains good advice, but I believe the ingredients are wrong, since it uses 140g of yeast cake for less than 700g flour. I tried it last year and you could feel the yeast in the flavour, not good. Other recipes bring different yeast/flour proportions. i could have made something wrong in the baking... it's always a possibility. Thanks for your help!
