You can make your own! For each cup of flour, measure 1/2 teaspoons baking powder and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Sift and measure your flour from this mixture.
It's probaby too late for the original poster, but shouldn't that be 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder? 1/2 teaspoon per cup of flour isn't going to provide much leavening oomph.
