A question about a recipe: Ginger Apple Torte

I have a bunch of small Fuji apples, which I'd like to use for this, in about an hour. How many should I use? Or, approaching it from a different angle, how many cups of slices are needed? Thanks so much, everyone. ;o)

Hi AJ. I'm honored that you're making this! 4 to 5 small apples should work. You want enough to have one layer of apples in the center of your nine inch pan.
