Epazote is interchangeable with cilantro in much of Mexico. Try it is salsa and grilled meat.
The other evening I was was using Shiso. I was struck by some of the similarities. Both are sort of metallic and medicinal tasting. Epazote much stronger and deeper, Shiso lighter. You got me thinking that I may try with black beans, not cooked with but in a salad. Hummmmmmm. Thank you for the thought.

You could try arugula, that would be the closet thing flavor wise to it.
