Recipe for a flaky yellow cake?

Don;t know if this qualifies as a food pickle, but I recently made a crumb cake for my husband that he says was the best crumb cake he's tasted. Problem is, I don't remember the recipe I used! He says it was moist and very flaky (seems weird). Any recipes for a flaky yellow cake out there??

Flaky more like a biscuit--but I am pretty sure I didn't use yeast.

Hmmm....Was it flaky like a croissant, or flaky like a biscuit? Do you remember any of the ingredients? I'm wondering if you used yeast.
