Fava beans, cardoon and fennel
I bought these ingredients this morning at the farmer's market and am thinking of making a brothy vegetable melange by steaming them in chicken broth but am puzzled how to add flavor without ovewhelming the veggies. Thinking of infusing the broth with ginger, lemongrass, garlic and shallots. Any other ideas on what to do with these gorgeous fresh veggies?
