Shredded pork

I got a recipe from a friend for some shredded pork she made as sandwich filler. It's a loose recipe and says to bake it in a Dutch oven for two hours. It does not mention whether it should be covered. The meat is pork chops. Any on whether I should put the lid on or not? I'm baking it now.

You'll want to trap the moisture in and the steam will help it cook faster.
