Thawing lamb roasts

I have three 2lb or so lamb roasts. I've put them in to defrost yesterday AM for dinner tonight, but I just checked them and they seem pretty solid. So I'll have to use the cold water method to get them all the way there--how long do we think it will take?

Sorry this question went unanswered -- if you haven't already, I'd say start! Earlier is generally better -- then you can always stick them back in the fridge if they finish thawing early.
