I want to use leftover red wine to make vinegar but how?

My mom and dad made vinegar a few times on the farm. You will need a "mother" aka starter. You can get this at a winemaking store. Its an acetic acid bacteria. If you just sit wine out it will turn to sour wine. You feed your wine. Much like you feed sourdough starter. Hope this helps! Good luck!
