I make tons of pesto to freeze for winter with basil from my garden. Have a big crop of purple basil this year...has anyoneade pesto purple

I did, and it ended up a rather muddy color, but it still tasted great!

Yes, once the pesto is made don't expect it to remain purple. The flavor is fine for pesto. You'll see the same thing happen to purple bell peppers when they cook.
