I went to her blog and here is the correct amounts:
250g butter, softened
2/3 cup caster sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
1/4 cup dark cocoa powder
2 1/2 cups plain flour
1 tsp baking powder
1 cup dessicated coconut
1 tin sweetened condensed milk
1 tin condensed milk caramel
60g butter, softened
1 tbsp golden syrup

She is in New Zealand and there is a canned caramel condensed milk. you can do it yourself if you cannot find here is something from wiki http://www.wikihow.com/Make-Caramel-from-Sweetened-Condensed-Milk
