AJ, I don't know why, but I couldn't add to the question. I'd like to turn this into a chocolate pecan pie. I was thinking of either using 2 ounces of bittersweet chocolate in place of the butter or of adding about 1/2 cup of unsweetened cocoa powder in place of the nutmeg and orange zest. I don't want it to be too sweet. What do you think?
